Wild Mouse 765 is a strain created by introducing chromosome 1 from a wild mouse onto the C57BL/6JGpt background. Compared to C57BL/6JGpt mice, Wild Mouse 765 exhibited a behavioral inclination of increased spatial and intellectual competency and showed greater genetic diversity. Due to its high heritability, the 765 strain can be bred with other C57BL/6JGpt-based mouse strains and used as foundation mice in relevant neurological disease research.
